IndiaFirst Life Insurance has announced the appointment of Vivek Zakarde as the new “Head of Data Operations.” Zakarde, a seasoned leader in the field of data, AI, and technology, brings with him a wealth of experience spanning over two decades. He will now lead initiatives in data management, data science, AI/ML, and business intelligence, making a significant impact on the company’s technological direction.
Zakarde, with his expertise in Big Data, Cloud Computing, AI, and Data Science, is set to revolutionize IndiaFirst Life’s approach to data operations. Before his role at IndiaFirst Life, Zakarde held the position of Chief Data & Analytics Officer at IDBI Bank, where he demonstrated outstanding leadership in Data Engineering, Analytics, AI, Machine Learning, and Blockchain. With a career spanning 22 years, Zakarde has worked in top organizations like IndusInd Bank, Reliance General Insurance Ltd., and EXL Services. His global exposure includes collaborations with some of the most respected enterprises worldwide, including British Gas, Ford Motors, and Suncorp Bank.
Zakarde’s arrival at IndiaFirst Life marks a new chapter in the company’s efforts to integrate sophisticated data technologies into its business framework.
