Visionet Systems appoints Anand Sampath as Global Head of Business Process Services

IT services firm Visionet Systems has named Anand Sampath, its Global Head of Business Process Services, to take additional charge of its India operations. This move comes following the exit of Sandeep Agarwal, who had led the India centre for the past four years.

Sampath brings over two decades of experience in managing teams and driving performance across multiple functions. The company said in a statement that he is well-prepared to lead the centre’s next phase of growth.

Sharing his plans for the new role, Sampath said, “My focus will be on strengthening our operations, encouraging innovation, and creating an environment where our teams can excel and deliver excellent results for our clients.”

In his expanded role, Sampath will work closely with local leadership to improve operational efficiency, bring together various functions, and ensure the India team continues to meet evolving client demands.

Kamran Ozair, CEO of Visionet Systems, expressed confidence in the appointment, saying, “Sampath has a strong focus on delivery, operational discipline, and a collaborative approach that fits perfectly with our goals. As we build on our progress in India, I’m confident he will help elevate our capabilities.”

Sampath’s academic background includes a Business Strategy Certificate from Cornell University, an MBA in Marketing from Christ University, Bangalore, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Bangalore University.

Visionet, a mid-sized IT services provider, operates in areas such as mortgage banking, data capture, finance and accounting, and hospitality. The company has been growing at a steady pace of 40–45% CAGR over the last four years. It has set its sights on reaching $1 billion in revenue by 2030.

In a February interview with media, former India MD Sandeep Agarwal had said that 2% of Visionet’s profits are reinvested into R&D and innovation.
