In a notable shift at Diamond Power and Infrastructure Ltd, the company has announced the sudden resignation of its Chief Financial Officer, Vinod Jain, just before the scheduled declaration of its quarterly and yearly financial results. The development was confirmed through a regulatory filing shared on Tuesday.
Jain, who also served as the Whole-time Director and Chief Risk Officer, has cited “unavoidable circumstances” as the reason behind his immediate exit from all roles at Diamond Power. His resignation was officially accepted by the board at the close of business on May 27, 2025.
To ensure operational continuity, Diamond Power has temporarily appointed Samir Naik, General Manager of Corporate Finance, as the Interim CFO. His appointment has been ratified by the Board based on recommendations from both the Audit Committee and the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. Naik will carry the mantle until a permanent successor is identified and appointed.
Alongside the leadership change, Diamond Power has also rescheduled the announcement of its audited financial results for the fourth quarter and the full financial year ending March 31, 2025. Initially set for May 27, the results will now be disclosed on May 30, 2025.
