Vikram Sahu joins as new CEO to lead Bank of America’s India business

The announcement was shared internally after receiving approval from the central bank. Sahu brings close to twenty years of global leadership experience in equity research and financial markets, spanning Asia, the United States and Europe.

He has built a strong career leading strategic research operations, shaping market insights and managing high performing financial analysis teams across international hubs. Before taking on this role, Sahu served as the Global Head of Equity Research at the organisation’s international arm and earlier as the APAC Head of Equity Research. He also spent over fourteen years at a major global financial institution, rising to the position of Asia South Head of Research and previously working in London as Co Lead for tactical research.

His wide ranging global experience and deep understanding of financial markets position him well to steer the organisation’s India operations in an evolving and competitive banking environment.
