In his new role, Vikash Jhunjhunwala will lead overall business strategy, trading operations, and commercial growth across the energy and resources portfolio of the organisation. Based in Ahmedabad, he brings deep institutional knowledge, having spent several years within Adani Enterprises Limited in key leadership roles.
Before this appointment, he served as Chief Trader Steam Coal at Adani Enterprises Limited. In that position, he was responsible for global coal sourcing, trading strategy, pricing, and risk management, playing a critical role in managing large scale international operations.
Prior to rejoining Adani Enterprises Limited in senior leadership, Vikash Jhunjhunwala worked with GMR Group as Head Coal Procurement and Trade. There, he oversaw imported coal procurement, managed long term supply contracts, and built structured risk frameworks to support stable sourcing and trading operations.
Vikash’s earlier career also includes experience at Adani Enterprises Limited as Associate General Manager Marketing, where he worked closely on commercial and marketing functions. He later moved to VISA Steel Limited, handling imported coal marketing, and to Indian Rayon Industries Limited, where he was involved in MIS and senior leadership coordination. These roles helped him build a strong foundation across energy, commodities trading, and industrial sectors.
With extensive experience across trading, procurement, and commercial strategy, Vikash Jhunjhunwala’s appointment is expected to support Adani Enterprises Limited’s efforts to drive growth and strengthen its energy and resources business.
