Birlasoft has elevated Vikas Jugran to the role of Program Director, strengthening its leadership in enterprise-scale SAP Cloud transformation and GenAI innovation. Based in Pune, he will spearhead large transformation programs and drive the evolution of the company’s SAP and GenAI practice.
In his new mandate, Vikas leads strategic initiatives across RISE with SAP, GROW with SAP, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). He is also a key architect of the “Clean Core” governance model. Under his leadership, Birlasoft has established the SAP GenAI Center of Excellence, focused on delivering AI-powered modernization platforms. These solutions help enterprises transition from traditional ABAP environments to cloud-aligned and compliance-ready architectures.
Prior to his elevation, Vikas built a strong track record as a global delivery leader and SAP Solution Architect. Over his nearly 3-year tenure at Birlasoft, he served as Associate Program Director and BTP Practice Lead. In these roles, he drove growth in AI/ML capabilities and developed solution accelerators to enhance enterprise transformation outcomes.
His broader career spans leadership roles across global organizations. He served as Data Engineering Delivery Manager at Accenture, overseeing operations in Germany. He also held the position of Program Manager at Avaya in Singapore and worked as Finance IT Head at ZS. Earlier in his career, he gained foundational experience at IBM, Mphasis, and Tata Technologies.
With over 2 decades of experience in PLM and SAP architecture, Vikas combines deep technical expertise with a forward-looking digital strategy mindset. In his new role, he will continue shaping Birlasoft’s SAP Cloud and GenAI roadmap, driving innovation-led transformation for enterprise clients.
