Vijay Sharma joins Syntegon as Chief Financial Officer

In his new position, Vijay will lead the company’s financial strategy, governance, and overall financial performance. His responsibilities include supporting Syntegon’s growth plans in advanced manufacturing and processing solutions, while strengthening financial controls and driving long term value creation.

Before joining Syntegon, Vijay Sharma served as Finance Director Tender and Projects for the APAC region at Alstom. He has also held senior finance leadership roles at Bombardier Transportation India, GE Power India Ltd., GE, and Alstom India Ltd. These roles gave him wide exposure to finance leadership across large engineering, power, and transportation organisations.

Vijay Sharma’s professional journey also includes a long tenure at Alstom Projects India Ltd., where he handled multiple finance leadership responsibilities over the years. Earlier in his career, he worked with ABB Ltd., adding to his experience across project finance, regional operations, and large scale infrastructure and industrial businesses.

With his strong background in managing complex financial operations and large projects, Vijay Sharma is expected to play a key role in supporting Syntegon’s financial discipline and strategic growth initiatives in India and across global markets.
