A strategic leadership addition highlights Vodafone Idea’s continued focus on building strong people practices as it navigates growth and transformation in India’s telecom sector. Subitha brings over 10 years of experience across FMCG, BFSI, and manufacturing, with expertise in rewards, performance management, and employee engagement.

Her appointment reflects the company’s intent to build scalable and high-impact HR frameworks that support business transformation and long-term growth.

Before joining Vodafone Idea, Subitha served as Group Head – Rewards & Performance at Arvind Limited. In this role, she led enterprise-wide compensation and performance strategies, driving employee engagement and organisational effectiveness.

Earlier, she worked as Senior Manager – Rewards at DBS Bank, where she played a key role in designing and implementing reward frameworks aligned with business and talent strategies.

She also spent nearly 6 years at L’Oréal, handling multiple roles including Manager – Total Rewards and Assistant Manager – Talent Acquisition. During this period, she gained experience in compensation design, international mobility, talent acquisition, and HR program execution across regions.

In her current role at Vodafone Idea, she is serving as Vice President – Rewards, responsible for shaping reward strategies and employee value propositions aligned with organisational priorities.

Subitha holds an MBA in Human Resources from Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development, bringing a strong academic foundation to her strategic HR leadership approach.
