With over twenty years of rich human resources expertise, Urvi brings a deep well of knowledge in global talent acquisition, diversity equity and inclusion, strategic workforce planning, and transformational change management. Since joining Standard Chartered in 2022, she has spearheaded key projects including her roles as Group Head of Talent Deployment and Global Head of Resourcing Transformation for Technology and Operations, where she was instrumental in designing a future-ready talent model.
Before her time at Standard Chartered, Urvi enjoyed a notable nine-year career at a leading global technology company, where she held senior positions such as Head of Diversity, Inclusion and Talent Acquisition for the Asia Pacific region and Head of HR for Digital Services across Oceania and India. Her commitment to fostering inclusive, agile, and transformative people strategies consistently drove impactful results in complex, multinational settings.
Urvi’s professional journey also includes pivotal leadership at a major international bank, where she expanded the technology workforce throughout Asia Pacific and managed large-scale HR system changes. Additionally, her early career featured important roles at consulting and tech firms, where she advanced employee engagement, performance management, and policy development during rapid growth phases.
