Conversational automation platform Uniphore has announced the acquisition of Orby AI Inc. and its intention to acquire Autonom8 Inc.
According to the company, both teams bring highly skilled AI research and engineering talent from DeepMind and Google, adding expertise and innovation to drive the future of business AI.
Orby is recognised for its advanced research, neuro symbolic reasoning, AI models, and tools designed to identify intelligent processes. Autonom8 complements this by applying such innovations in real business scenarios, transforming cutting edge concepts into practical applications.
“Our customers are betting their business models on AI enabled transformation, with Business AI Cloud at the core. With the addition of Orby and Autonom8, Uniphore will welcome world class research and engineering talent and breakthrough AI capabilities that elevate our ability to orchestrate complex workflows,” said Umesh Sachdev, CEO and co founder of Uniphore.
Uniphore’s Business AI Cloud provides enterprises with a complete, composable AI stack that covers agents, models, knowledge, and data. The integration of Orby and Autonom8 technology is expected to speed up the automation of complex workflows that require reasoning, judgement, and precision.
In December, Uniphore strengthened its portfolio with the acquisition of two data companies, ActionIQ and Infoworks.
According to a media report, Uniphore is also in talks to raise 250 million dollars in a new funding round. Its last funding was in February 2022, when it secured 400 million dollars at a valuation of 2.5 billion dollars.
