Uber has named Pradeep Parameswaran as the new leader of its global Mobility business, placing him at the helm of one of the most pivotal functions in the company’s journey toward the future of urban transportation.
Having already made a mark leading Uber’s operations in India, South Asia, and later the Asia Pacific region, Parameswaran will now shape the company’s Mobility strategy across more than 70 countries. In this elevated role, he will focus on building Uber’s multimodal vision—integrating ridesharing with emerging formats that prioritise sustainability, accessibility, and efficiency.
As part of this transition, he will relocate to New York City, a shift that adds a personal milestone to his already distinguished global career.
