TVS Supply Chain Solutions Limited (TVS SCS) has announced the appointment of R. Vaidhyanathan as its new Global Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective from April 1, 2025. This strategic move comes after a board meeting held today, marking a significant transition in the company’s leadership. Vaidhyanathan, who currently holds the position of Deputy Global CFO, will be based in Chennai and will report directly to the Managing Director, Ravi Viswanathan.
In a related change, Ravi Prakash Bhagavathula, the outgoing Global CFO, will assume a new role as the Head of Strategic Initiatives, based in Singapore. Bhagavathula, who has been with TVS SCS since 2018 and played a pivotal role in the company’s public listing, will continue to report to Viswanathan in his new capacity. In his new role, Bhagavathula will lead initiatives focused on the company’s expansion and long-term strategic growth.
Vaidhyanathan’s journey with TVS SCS began in January 2019 when he joined as Senior Group Financial Controller. His exceptional work led to his promotion as the CFO for the India business, where he successfully managed various finance functions and drove operational efficiency. His expertise in financial planning and management will be crucial as he takes on the Global CFO role.
This leadership transition underscores TVS SCS’s commitment to strengthening its financial and strategic vision as the company continues its growth trajectory in the global supply chain industry. The changes reflect the company’s ambition to scale new heights and broaden its reach in integrated logistics services across the world.
In response to the transition, TVS SCS emphasized that Vaidhyanathan’s leadership would be instrumental in navigating the company through its next phase of growth, while Bhagavathula’s focus on strategic initiatives will ensure continued progress in the business expansion efforts.
