As Tredence’s second-largest delivery hub in India, the Pune center is projected to host 1,000 employees by 2026
Tredence, a global leader in AI and data science solutions, today announced the inauguration of its new office in Pune, marking a major step in its strategic expansion across India. Positioned as the company’s second-largest delivery hub, the Pune center will play a key role in scaling enterprise-grade AI and analytics solutions for global clients.
With 400 professionals currently in Pune, Tredence is strategically scaling its workforce to over 1,000 by 2026, with plans to add 600–800 new professionals over the next year. This expansion, part of Tredence’s ambitious 2025 plan to hire 1,700 employees (with 30% focused on Generative AI and Agentic AI specializations), underscores a clear roadmap centered on emerging technologies such as Generative AI, Agentic AI, and advanced data engineering to stay ahead of the innovation curve.
As part of its long-term vision for regional impact, Tredence is actively developing a strategic academic partnership to foster industry-academia collaboration and build a robust pipeline of future-ready technology talent in the region. The company is also strengthening its existing Tredence Studio presence in Pune. Tredence Studio builds AI accelerators using its proprietary AI Flywheel framework, enabling faster deployments, lower implementation costs, and scalable value for clients.
Munjay Singh, Chief Operating Officer, Tredence, said, “Pune represents our second-largest delivery hub in India. It’s a strategic cornerstone that amplifies our global capabilities and positions us closer to both exceptional talent and innovation ecosystems. The city’s dynamic tech landscape, world-class educational institutions, and entrepreneurial spirit make it an ideal location for scaling our most advanced AI and data science solutions. With active client programs already delivering impact from this location, Pune will serve as a critical delivery engine, enabling us to accelerate transformative outcomes and strengthen co-innovation partnerships across industries and geographies worldwide.”
Rekha Nair, Chief Human Resource Officer, Tredence, said, “Our Pune office marks a quantum leap in how we attract, develop, and empower the next generation of AI talent. As we build a future-ready, agile workforce, this center will serve as a vibrant hub for innovation, continuous learning, and career advancement in high-demand areas like Generative AI, Agentic AI, and advanced machine learning. We are not just hiring for today; we are investing in people who will drive tomorrow’s AI transformation with purpose and impact. Strong academic partnerships and real-world exposure will anchor this talent development journey.”
Solidifying its pan-India footprint, Tredence now operates across Bengaluru, Chennai, Gurugram, Kolkata, and Pune, bolstering global delivery, innovation, and talent development in AI and analytics.
Earlier this year, Tredence acquired Further Advisory, enhancing its consulting capabilities in financial services and insurance. This move strengthens the company’s position as a strategic partner for end-to-end AI-led transformation in the BFSI sector.
