TraceX Labs launches AI-driven mobile security platform

TraceX Labs has introduced TraceX Guard, an AI-powered all-in-one mobile security platform created to tackle India’s expanding mobile cybercrime challenge. With smartphones widely used for UPI transactions, Aadhaar-linked services, banking, and social networking, attackers are increasingly exploiting mobile devices to carry out fraud, phishing attacks, and APK malware infections.

Cybercriminals are distributing malicious APK files through platforms such as WhatsApp and Telegram, often disguising them as traffic challan apps, wedding invitations, loan approvals, adult video call apps, or cloned government service applications. Once installed, these trojanised apps request excessive permissions and deploy Remote Access Trojans (RATs), allowing attackers to access SMS messages, OTPs, banking apps, photos, microphones, and cameras. Financial losses can occur within minutes, making early detection critical.

TraceX Guard is positioned as a modern Android security solution built for India’s evolving threat landscape. Unlike traditional antivirus tools that rely mainly on static signatures, the platform combines artificial intelligence, real-time behavioural monitoring, and cloud-based threat intelligence to identify suspicious activity before damage occurs. It performs device audits, checks app permissions, verifies installer sources, and explains risks in simple language to help users understand potential threats.

Key features include real-time APK installation monitoring, phishing URL and QR code scanning, WiFi risk detection, SIM and OTP interception alerts, ransomware behaviour detection, and ID breach lookup tools. Applications are categorised into safety levels, enabling users to make informed decisions instead of relying only on technical alerts. Multilingual support improves accessibility, especially for users in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities where awareness gaps often increase fraud risks.

As India advances toward a fully digital ecosystem, experts stress that device-level protection is essential to reduce financial fraud and ease pressure on cybercrime response systems. By combining AI with localized threat intelligence, TraceX Guard aims to strengthen digital trust and protect users from phishing, ransomware, APK malware, and financial scams.
