The Standard India has announced the launch of its new Global Capability Center under StanCorp Global Services India Private Limited. This marks an important milestone for the US based company, which provides insurance, retirement and investment products. The new centers in Bengaluru and Pune will help accelerate technology transformation, drive innovation, create high value jobs and support the company’s long term growth plans.

As part of the expansion, The Standard India has appointed industry expert Mohua Sengupta as Senior Vice President and Country Head. Sengupta brings close to three decades of experience across banking, financial services and information technology. She previously led the Novartis India Global Capability Center and has held leadership positions at organisations such as 3i Infotech, ITC Infotech, IGATE, Mphasis, Accenture, Wipro and the Royal Bank of Canada.
