Messaging platform Telegram has released a major update focused on personalisation and interactive tools for users. The latest changes include Music on Profiles, a Stickers Mini App, redesigned Android profiles, gift themes, and improved options for managing collectibles. According to Telegram, the update is designed to give users more freedom in how they present themselves and connect with the platform’s features.
Music on Profiles Users can now attach songs from their chats directly to their profile pages. The tracks appear in a playlist bar under the profile picture, and each added song stacks in sequence. Music can be added quickly from the media player or by selecting Save to → Profile.
Stickers Mini App The new Stickers Mini App allows users to create, organise, and share custom stickers and emoji. Linked to the @Stickers bot, it also offers detailed usage statistics so creators can track and manage their sticker packs. This addition strengthens Telegram’s open approach to user-generated content.
Updated Android Profiles Android users now benefit from a refreshed profile design inspired by Telegram’s community design contest. The upgrade brings smooth scrolling animations that were previously available only on iOS. Telegram noted that this update reflects its collaboration with community developers, designers, and creators.
Default Profile Tabs A new setting enables users to choose which tab appears first when others view their profile. Options include saved stories, collectibles, or gift collections, allowing users to highlight what matters most to them.
Gift Themes and Upgrades Collectible gifts are now linked to matching chat wallpapers. Items such as Plush Pepes, Precious Peaches, Durov’s Caps, and Heart Lockets unlock themes that can be applied to private conversations. Users can also send Stars to friends, enabling them to upgrade their gifts without any payment. Telegram has added new filters such as Upgradable and an Upgrade Next Gift button to make the process smoother. Upgraded gifts display a special animation to mark the change.
