TCL CSOT unveils next generation display vision at CES 2026

Las Vegas once again became the global stage for breakthrough technology as CES 2026 opened its doors, and TCL China Star Optoelectronics Technology used the platform to present its future focused display roadmap. The company highlighted its APEX innovation philosophy, built around Amazing Display Experience, Protective of Eye Health, Eco Friendly to Build and Use, and X Unlimited Imaginative Potential, outlining how displays will evolve to be smarter, healthier and more responsible.

Under the APEX framework, TCL CSOT shared a clear industry message. “We are at an inflection point where display innovation must deliver smarter, healthier, more responsible experiences,” said Jun Zhao, Senior Vice President of TCL Technology and CEO of TCL CSOT. The company showcased how artificial intelligence is being integrated into display manufacturing to enhance user experience, improve sustainability and meet growing consumer awareness around health and environmental impact.

In home entertainment and mobility, TCL CSOT introduced the HVA Ultra Infinity View TV Display in 98 inch size, featuring 18000 backlight zones and over 96% BT2020 color coverage. Advanced RGB independent backlight control and an ultra slim narrow bezel deliver deeper immersion and precise color performance. In automotive displays, the world’s first sliding and multi curved inkjet printed OLED display expands from 16 inch to 28 inch and supports over 100000 sliding roll operations. Its true RGB pixel layout and 50% to 60% luminous area ratio ensure consistent color and clarity inside premium smart cockpits.

Eye comfort and sustainability were also key highlights. TCL CSOT presented the world’s first natural light certified OLED mobile display in 6.89 inch size, along with a natural light switchable 27 inch monitor that reduces eye fatigue during long use. On sustainability, the company revealed the first PFAS free 14 inch notebook display and a 13.2 inch OLED tablet display that cuts power consumption by 15% to 25% through adaptive refresh rates. Looking ahead, TCL CSOT introduced ultra high resolution XR and AR displays, including a 1512 PPI G OLED display and a 5131 PPI Si Micro LED display. Powered by X Intelligence 3.0, TCL CSOT reported 20% improvement in product issue analysis and 30% gains in materials development. As Jun Zhao added, “Embracing AI to reinvigorate display manufacturing, we use AI for Display to empower eye health and sustainability, and Display for AI to create the future of display for the AI era.”
