Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (Tata Power-DDL) has announced the appointment of Dwijadas Basak as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective June 9, 2025. With over three decades of extensive experience in power distribution, Basak steps into the leadership role to further enhance the company’s commitment to quality management and customer service.
Before taking the helm at Tata Power-DDL, Basak served as the CEO of TP Northern Odisha Distribution Limited and held the position of Chief Operating Officer at TP Central Odisha Distribution Ltd. His career spans various leadership roles within Tata Power subsidiaries, showcasing his profound expertise in the power sector.
Dr Praveer Sinha, CEO & MD of Tata Power, welcomed Mr Basak, highlighting his extensive experience and successful track record in the power distribution industry. “Dwijadas Basak’s leadership will drive Tata Power-DDL’s next phase of growth, emphasizing innovation, operational excellence, and enhanced customer focus,” he said.
