Tata Electronics welcomes Muthukumaran Subramaniyan as its Talent Acquisition Lead

Tata Electronics has strengthened its hiring leadership with the appointment of Muthukumaran Subramaniyan as talent acquisition lead. The company stated that his experience in large scale and niche technology recruitment will support its expansion in the electronics manufacturing and semiconductor space.

In this role, Muthukumaran will guide strategic recruitment efforts across multiple business units. His focus will be on building scalable hiring systems that match the company’s growth and innovation goals.

Before joining Tata Electronics, he worked as talent acquisition leader at Tessolve. During his two year tenure, he drove global hiring across India, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Europe. He completed more than one thousand five hundred ninety five hires with an eighty two percent joining ratio, managed a thirty six member recruitment team, and maintained a direct sourcing rate of ninety seven point nine percent which generated significant cost savings. He also led major technical hiring across design verification, analog, embedded systems, and artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Earlier, Muthukumaran served as talent acquisition leader at Wipro, where he managed VLSI and system design recruitment across India. His approach to workforce planning and stakeholder coordination helped the company scale in specialised technology areas important to its digital transformation plans.

Before that, Muthukumaran worked as associate general manager talent acquisition at HCL Technologies. He led hiring for the Vijayawada centre with a focus on engineering research and development and digital infrastructure. His team achieved complete direct sourcing, doubled the headcount within a year, and introduced effective sourcing and incentive strategies.

At Centum Electronics, Muthukumaran held the role of head talent acquisition India and HR business partner. He supported hiring for the strategic electronics business unit and EMS operations while improving employer brand performance.

His career also includes roles at several other organisations where he developed strong capability in niche technology recruitment, leadership hiring, and global workforce integration. With more than twenty years of experience in HR leadership, he is recognised for strategic planning, stakeholder alignment, and operational excellence.
