Surya Narayan Patro Appointed as Chief Financial Officer at Toyota Financial Services India

Toyota Financial Services India (TFSIN) has announced the elevation of Surya Narayan Patro to the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Based in Bengaluru, Patro will now spearhead the company’s critical financial operations, encompassing financial planning, governance, fundraising, and regulatory compliance. He will report directly to TFSIN’s executive leadership team.

Patro brings over two decades of extensive experience within financial institutions to his new role. His expertise spans corporate finance, taxation, fund management, and the crucial area of financial automation. Before this significant promotion, Patro served as the Function Head – Finance & Accounts at TFS India, where he was instrumental in streamlining financial operations and elevating reporting standards for the company.

Prior to joining TFS India in July 2023, Patro held various senior leadership roles across several prominent financial entities, including Fincare Small Finance Bank, North East Small Finance Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, and Shriram Investments.

Patro is a seasoned financial leader with a forward-thinking mindset, known for aligning fiscal strategies with long-term business vision. His promotion signals Toyota Financial Services India’s continued emphasis on sustainable growth through robust financial governance and internal talent development.
