SuperBryn has raised 1.2 million dollars in pre seed funding led by the CXXO initiative of Kalaari Capital. The Bengaluru based voice AI startup will use this investment to build reliability infrastructure for real world voice agents. Additional support came from several angel investors, including Rikant Pitti, Arjun Pillai, Sharath Keshava Narayanan, Harish Manian and actor Nivin Pauly.
Co founders Neethu Mariam Joy and Nikkitha Shanker said that the company’s strength came from several pivots and repeated attempts to understand market needs. Joy said: “We pivoted almost five times. We had no idea which direction to take. We tried, we failed, we rebuilt.” Shanker explained that many voice agents that appear ready in a demo fail in real situations because accents, noise and overlapping speech disrupt their planned responses.
SuperBryn says its oversight layer helps companies move from pilot to production much faster and at a lower cost. According to the startup, its clients have raised their resolution rates from below forty percent to more than eighty percent within sixty days. The team says that more than seventy percent of voice AI pilots fail because of reliability issues, and its platform aims to close these gaps.
