Sumit Sabharwal Takes Charge as Head of HR Services at Vodafone Intelligent Solutions

Vodafone Intelligent Solutions (VOIS) has appointed Sumit Sabharwal as its new Head of HR Services, marking a significant addition to the company’s leadership team. Sabharwal brings with him over two decades of extensive experience in human resources, having honed his leadership skills across multiple global markets and industries.

His career in HR began in 2011 when he took on the role of Senior Manager – HR at Huawei. Since then, he has held several pivotal leadership positions, including his most recent tenure at Fujitsu, where he spent more than seven years. At Fujitsu, Sabharwal played a key role in shaping HR strategy, talent development, and global HR operations, eventually becoming Vice President – HR. His leadership journey at Fujitsu saw him manage HR initiatives across regions such as Asia, India, and Costa Rica, as well as heading global learning and development efforts.

In his new role at VOIS, Sabharwal will be responsible for spearheading the company’s HR strategy and ensuring the seamless execution of crucial HR services. His goal will be to align HR operations with Vodafone Group’s vision, providing world-class HR services and promoting workforce management and employee engagement to create an agile, high-performing workforce.

Sabharwal’s experience extends beyond his time at Huawei and Fujitsu. He previously worked with Concentrix and Dell, where he focused on talent engagement, employee development, and talent management. His journey in HR has built a strong foundation in developing leadership frameworks, team engagement, and managing large-scale HR operations.

Holding an MBA in Human Resources from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad, and a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Sabharwal is well-equipped to lead VOIS in its HR transformation efforts.
