Suhora Technologies Partners with Satellogic to Deliver Exclusive Satellite Data Services in India and Nepal

Noida-based Suhora Technologies has signed a multi-year, seven-figure partnership with US-based Satellogic, gaining exclusive rights to provide high-resolution Earth observation services in India and Nepal. The collaboration aims to expand access to satellite-driven insights for critical sectors including urban planning, disaster response, resource management, and climate change mitigation.

The partnership will use Suhora’s subscription-based SPADE platform, which simplifies access to satellite data. By combining this platform with Satellogic’s advanced Earth observation capabilities, the collaboration will enable faster, more affordable, and high-quality geospatial intelligence for Indian and Nepali users.

Krishanu Acharya, CEO and co-founder of Suhora, said, “By integrating Satellogic’s cost-effective and extensive EO data capabilities with our SPADE platform, we are enabling Indian users to harness high-resolution satellite insights like never before.” With Satellogic’s sub-metre resolution imagery paired with Suhora’s localised analytics, stakeholders will be able to make more informed and data-driven decisions.

Sharing a similar perspective, Emiliano Kargieman, CEO of Satellogic, remarked, “This partnership will democratise access to critical geospatial insights, providing the most cost-effective, high-capacity data access to help solve significant national challenges, from security to sustainability.”

Amit Kumar, COO and co-founder of Suhora, also underlined the growing need for such services. He noted, “India’s appetite for high-quality geospatial intelligence is surging, driven by fast-evolving national priorities and the rising need for efficient data-driven decision-making.”

The timing of this collaboration is significant, as the global GIS market is projected to grow from 32.97 billion dollars in 2024 to 55.75 billion dollars by 2029. India’s geospatial sector alone is expected to rise from 23.5 billion dollars in 2024 to 79.3 billion dollars by 2030. Reflecting the depth of this industry’s integration, Agendra Kumar, MD at a leading geospatial technology firm, recently stated, “We have close to 6,500 organisational customers in the country… maybe 1.2 million people use some app running on our technology every day.”

This partnership positions Suhora and Satellogic at the forefront of India’s fast-growing geospatial ecosystem, offering advanced satellite intelligence to drive sustainable development and technological progress in the region.
