Spotify launches weekly Audiobook Charts for US and UK listeners

In a move aimed at improving content discovery, Spotify has introduced Audiobook Charts for users in the US and UK, allowing listeners to see which titles are trending based on real listening data.

Announced on February 27, 2026, the new charts are updated weekly and are available to both free and Premium users. They can be accessed directly through the Audiobooks hub on the platform.

Users can explore the charts by tapping on Search, selecting the Audiobooks tile, and then scrolling to “Dive deeper.” The section highlights top-performing titles across genres such as romance, mystery/thriller, self-help, sci-fi/fantasy, and more.

For example, “Heated Rivalry” appears among the listed titles on Spotify.

Audiobooks continue to see strong growth on Spotify. The company has also introduced features such as Page Match, which syncs print or e-books with audio versions, and Recaps, which provide short audio summaries.

With the launch of Audiobook Charts, Spotify aims to make discovering new titles as simple as finding new music or podcasts.

As Duncan Bruce from Spotify puts it: “As we’ve proven with Music and Podcasts Charts, when content is easier to access, discover, and enjoy, the demand grows.”

The company believes that improved visibility and easier navigation will help drive even greater engagement with audiobooks in the US and UK markets.
