SarvaGram has announced the appointment of Spandan Rathod as Chief Human Resources Officer. In this role, she will lead the company’s people strategy, focusing on talent building, leadership development, and employee engagement as SarvaGram advances its mission of empowering rural households through financial services, risk mitigation, and productivity tools.
Spandan has been part of SarvaGram since early 2024, initially serving as Vice President – Corporate HR, where she played a key role in shaping HR policies, talent strategies, and organisational development initiatives. Her promotion to CHRO reflects the significant impact she has made in aligning people practices with the company’s growth objectives.
Before joining SarvaGram, Spandan was a Partner at a strategic HR advisory firm, advising organisations on human resources strategy, culture building, and leadership development. Her entrepreneurial experience allowed her to contribute to a diverse range of clients and strengthen her expertise in strategic HR advisory.
Earlier, she served as Head of People Experience, Talent, Learning and Organisation Development, and Internal Communication at a global fintech company, leading HR initiatives across learning, leadership development, and engagement. At DHL SmarTrucking, she directed learning and development programs aimed at performance improvement, onboarding, and sales capability building.
Spandan also spent over three years at a global logistics service provider as Site Lead and COE Senior Partner, where she implemented learning strategies impacting more than 13,000 employees across multiple global sites. Her career further includes impactful roles at leading organisations in sectors such as outsourcing, insurance, and logistics, as well as earlier technical and leadership development positions that laid the foundation of her expertise.
Spandan holds an advanced management education credential from a premier Indian institute, equipping her with strong leadership and strategic HR capabilities to complement her extensive professional experience.
