Skye Air Mobility, a leading operator of hyperlocal drone delivery networks in India, has announced a strategic partnership with US-based Arrive AI. This collaboration is set to significantly scale automated delivery solutions across the country, leveraging innovative infrastructure to enhance drone logistics.
Skye Air currently provides rapid seven-minute drone delivery services in Gurugram, Haryana, and Bengaluru, Karnataka, successfully completing approximately 6,000 deliveries per day. The partnership with Arrive AI will involve the co-development and installation of “Arrive Points,” which are specialized mailboxes designed to facilitate seamless drone deliveries and pickups across India.
Arrive AI is set to initially deploy 60 units of these Arrive Points in Gurugram, with ambitious plans for wider expansion. The companies anticipate installing 500 Arrive Points across Skye Air’s service areas as part of its ongoing growth strategy into new cities.
Ankit Kumar, CEO of Skye Air, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating that the partnership comes at a crucial time as the company is rapidly scaling its operations and extending its footprint into additional cities like Bengaluru. This initiative is expected to revolutionize last-mile delivery logistics, making drone-based services more accessible and efficient throughout India.
