Siemens and Capgemini strengthen partnership to co-develop AI-driven industrial solutions

Siemens and Capgemini have expanded their long-term partnership to co-create AI-native digital solutions for product engineering, manufacturing, and operations. Unlike traditional systems where artificial intelligence is added later, these solutions are designed with AI at their core, enabling major improvements in efficiency, quality, sustainability, and speed to market across 16 key industrial areas.

The collaboration integrates Siemens’ expertise in industrial software, automation, and electrification with Capgemini’s strong capabilities in engineering and business transformation. Together, the companies aim to deliver measurable results for industries embracing digital transformation.

“For our customers Capgemini is like a compass – deeply familiar with our customers’ challenges and ambitions. Siemens provides the engine: Technologies like industrial AI, digital twins, and automation,” said Cedrik Neike, CEO of Digital Industries and Member of the Managing Board of Siemens AG.

Sharing this vision, Aiman Ezzat, CEO of the Capgemini Group, said, “By combining our strengths, our ambition is to help clients navigate complexity and realise tangible business impact, setting new benchmarks for operational efficiency.”

The partnership has already shown practical results through key collaborations. For Airbus, Siemens and Capgemini are helping decarbonise industrial sites with a goal of cutting energy use by 20 percent and emissions by 85 percent by 2030. In collaboration with Sanofi, they are transforming pharmaceutical production using generative AI-powered digital systems, reducing deviations by 80 percent and review times by 70 percent.

Similarly, for GravitHy, the two companies are improving hydrogen production efficiency through digitalised industrial processes aimed at lowering production costs by 10 percent.

Through these projects, Siemens and Capgemini are redefining industrial AI and intelligent manufacturing. Their partnership now spans more than 20 countries, establishing new standards for digital transformation across global industries.
