Shuchi Aroraa Appointed as Head of Human Resources at Godrej Capital

Shuchi Aroraa has joined Godrej Capital as Head of Human Resources, according to her announcement on LinkedIn in October.

Aroraa brings extensive experience in human resources, having spent nearly six years with HSBC. She served as Senior Vice President, HR Consultant, from February 2022 to October 2025, and earlier as Vice President between January 2020 and February 2022, as per her public profile.

Before joining HSBC, she worked as an HR Consultant with Aon from 2018 to 2020. From 2015 to 2018, she was associated with ICICI Bank, where she managed roles in wholesale banking HR, performance management, and campus recruitment. She also gained experience in training and recruitment at DCM Shriram and began her professional journey at Infosys in 2009 as a Systems Engineer.

Aroraa holds an MBA in Human Resources from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, earned in 2014, and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Jaypee University of Information Technology.

Godrej Capital, the financial services arm of the Godrej Group, ventured into the lending business in 2020. The company operates through its subsidiaries, Godrej Housing Finance and Godrej Finance. According to media reports, the firm plans to triple its assets under management within the next five years.

As per her LinkedIn post, Aroraa’s appointment at Godrej Capital became effective in October 2025.
