Shalini Pillai Banerjee joins Pine Labs as Chief Marketing Officer

Pine Labs has strengthened its senior leadership team with the appointment of Shalini Pillai Banerjee, as the fintech and payments company sharpens its brand focus and pushes growth in a competitive digital payments market.

Shalini Pillai Banerjee joins Pine Labs after serving as Marketing Director for India and South Asia at Microsoft. She brings extensive leadership experience from global organisations such as Microsoft, Google, and Coca Cola India, adding strong depth to the company’s marketing leadership.

With a career spanning more than 20 years, Shalini has led large scale marketing and go to market strategies across technology and consumer brands. At Google India, she served as Head of Consumer Apps Marketing for nearly 10 years, where she drove adoption across key consumer and SMB focused platforms.

Her professional journey also includes senior leadership roles at Coca Cola, along with entrepreneurial experience as co founder of BrandIdea Consultancy and Eventus Integrated Management. These roles helped her build strong capabilities across brand strategy, consumer engagement, and integrated marketing.

At Pine Labs, Shalini Pillai Banerjee is expected to apply her combined expertise in technology, consumer marketing, and brand building to support the company’s next phase of growth and differentiation within the fintech ecosystem. Her appointment comes at a time when Pine Labs continues to scale its offerings and strengthen its market positioning.
