SBI General Insurance Appoints Mohd. Arif Khan as Deputy CEO

SBI General Insurance has officially announced the appointment of Mohd. Arif Khan as its new Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Deputy CEO), effective June 11, 2025. This strategic appointment is set to bolster the company’s leadership and drive its future initiatives in the insurance sector.

Khan brings extensive experience in banking and digital transformation, which is expected to play a crucial role in accelerating innovation, enhancing customer engagement, and expanding market reach for SBI General Insurance. Over the years, he has held leadership roles in retail banking, strategic training, and core banking solution (CBS) implementation and training. His most recent position was General Manager, Network-I, at SBI’s Local Head Office in Thiruvananthapuram.

At SBI General Insurance, he will work closely with MD & CEO Naveen Chandra Jha, focusing on customer-centric product innovation, operational efficiency, digital transformation, profitable growth, and expanding reach in underserved markets.
