Frequent flyers using SBI credit cards will see major changes in domestic lounge access from January 10 as the company introduces a new programme with a wider lounge network and updated verification rules. The revised system separates lounges into two groups called Set A and Set B based on the type of SBI credit card.
Set A includes premium cards such as Apollo SBI Card SELECT, BPCL SBI Card OCTANE, Club Vistara SBI Card, Landmark Rewards SBI Card SELECT, Paytm SBI Card SELECT and PhonePe SBI Card SELECT. Participating lounges for these cards include facilities across Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi and Pune.
Set B applies to PRIME and Platinum category SBI credit cards including SBI Card PRIME, SBI Card PRIME Pro, Titan SBI Card, KrisFlyer SBI Card and several co branded PRIME and Platinum variants. Lounges under this set cover airports in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Coimbatore, Goa and also multiple lounges across Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi, Pune, Srinagar, Vadodara and Visakhapatnam.
Entry to any lounge requires validating the SBI credit card at the lounge POS system. Visa and RuPay cards will see a non refundable Rs 2 authorisation fee while Mastercard users will have a temporary Rs 25 authorisation hold that will not be charged. Complimentary visit limits will depend on the specific credit card and once these are exhausted customers may be denied entry or charged at regular lounge rates.
Additional charges may apply for meals, beverages including alcohol, nap rooms, spa services or any usage beyond complimentary allowances depending on lounge policies. The revised rules apply to SBI credit cards with annual fees of Rs 1499 and Rs 2999 where access is provided through network partners.
SBI Card customers are advised to check their card category, visit limits and lounge listings before planning lounge usage in 2026.
