Bengaluru-based Earth Observation and Decision Intelligence company SatSure has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Hyderabad’s Dhruva Space, a full-stack space solutions provider. This collaboration aims to offer complete space-based services using high-reliability technology developed entirely in India.
The partnership will combine the analytical capabilities of SatSure’s subsidiary KaleidEO with Dhruva Space’s strength in small satellite platforms, launch services and ground station infrastructure. Together, they will support both strategic and commercial sectors with a one-stop solution for Earth Observation needs.
Prateep Basu, founder and CEO of SatSure, said, “We are very excited to be joining forces with Dhruva Space, which will enable us both to harness the best of Indian ingenuity and technological prowess. This partnership is poised to boost our sovereign EO capabilities and create a complete package for end customers who need both high-quality data and end-to-end solutions.”
Sanjay Nekkanti, founder and CEO of Dhruva Space, added, “This collaboration with SatSure marks a significant step in building a vertically integrated, sovereign space ecosystem. By leveraging Dhruva Space’s end-to-end capabilities in satellite platform development, launch integration and ground segment infrastructure, in conjunction with KaleidEO’s cutting-edge Earth Observation payloads and analytics stack, this collaboration is poised to significantly optimise mission timelines and deliver actionable insights for critical applications across very critical sectors.”
KaleidEO, established in 2022 by SatSure, has developed two high-resolution optical and multispectral payloads. Dhruva Space, with four years of space heritage, is building a 280,000 square-foot spacecraft manufacturing facility in Hyderabad. This state-of-the-art facility will support the full lifecycle of spacecraft up to 500 kg, including design, engineering, assembly, integration and testing.
Founded in 2017, SatSure delivers AI-driven geospatial products across sectors such as agriculture, finance, utilities, energy and aviation. It serves clients across India, North America, Western Europe, Japan, Australia and the Middle East. Dhruva Space operates globally, providing satellites, Earth stations and launch services to both civilian and defence clients.
