SAP Concur Launches AI-Powered Booking Agent to Simplify Business Travel

SAP Concur, a global leader in integrated travel, expense, and invoice management solutions, has announced the launch of its AI-powered Booking Agent at the Global Business Travel Association Convention in Denver. This conversational travel assistant is designed to change how companies manage corporate travel by making the process as simple as talking to a friend.

With Booking Agent, business travellers no longer need to go through lengthy policy documents or multiple screens. Instead, they can use simple everyday commands such as “Book me a flight to Bengaluru on Thursday morning” and instantly receive personalised, policy-compliant travel choices, complete with real-time price details and cost estimates.

“We continue to enhance the new Concur Travel experience to better serve customers,” said Charlie Sultan, President of Concur Travel at SAP Concur. “With SAP Business AI, we’re innovating rapidly to transform the way companies manage business travel and improve the business traveller experience.”

This innovation is part of SAP’s wider Joule Agents Copilot initiative. It interprets a traveller’s intent, provides context-rich recommendations, and ensures alignment with both company travel rules and personal preferences. Booking Agent highlights how intelligent systems can simplify corporate travel, reduce repetitive tasks, and deliver consistency.
