Sanjeev Sharma will use technology to drive business productivity, digital transformation and Al-led efficiencies across the organisation. Based in Mumbai, he is expected to strengthen IT-enabled business outcomes through sales automation, customer relationship management and enterprise-wide technology modernisation.
In his new role, Sharma will focus on aligning technology initiatives with business priorities to improve efficiency and support long-term growth. His mandate includes advancing digital platforms and using Al-driven tools to enhance decision-making and operational performance.
Before joining VIP Industries Limited, Sharma served as Vice President – Information Technology at Usha International. He was earlier promoted from AVP–IT and led large-scale Al and machine learning, cloud-first and omni-channel transformation programmes across the organisation.
Sharma has also held senior IT leadership roles at Havells India Limited and Samsung India Electronics Limited, Noida. Earlier in his career, he worked in sales and operations roles at Unilever, NIVEA India, Spencer’s Retail, Dabur India Limited and DS Group. This diverse background gives him a strong blend of technology, sales and operations experience.
