Sandiep Batra joins JSW Steel as President and Chief Human Resources Officer Steel Corporate

Sandiep brings thirty years of experience in human resources across airports, digital services, telecom, retail, manufacturing and defence. His appointment comes at a crucial time as JSW Steel strengthens its focus on capability building, workforce agility and modern human resources systems. The company believes that a strong talent foundation and a future focused culture will support long term business growth.

Before joining JSW Steel, Sandiep served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Adani Airport Holdings Ltd. He led people strategies across eight airports and several joint ventures. His work focused on organisation development, talent processes and large scale transformation in highly complex environments.

Sandiep earlier career includes senior roles at Landmark Group, Vodafone Idea Limited, Vodafone, Bharti Teletech Limited, Cendant Corporation and Sona Koyo Steering Systems Ltd. Across these organisations, he worked on organisation design, talent management, digital human resources transformation and leadership development. He has led people programmes across diverse industries and has experience in shaping high performance teams at scale.

Sandiep is an alumnus of the University of Delhi and the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta. He brings a strong blend of strategic vision, operational discipline and people centred leadership. His expertise is expected to support JSW Steel as it builds a stronger human resources framework for its next phase of growth.
