Third Wave Coffee has announced the appointment of Sandeep Sinha as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) in October 2025 through an official LinkedIn post.
As CHRO, Sinha will be responsible for driving the company’s people and culture strategy. His focus will include strengthening organisational foundations, promoting learning-led practices, and fostering a high-performance culture to support Third Wave Coffee’s next phase of growth.
Sinha brings over 19 years of experience in human resources and learning and development. He has been associated with leading retail and quick service restaurant (QSR) brands such as Spencer’s Retail, Lifestyle at Landmark Group in the Middle East, and Domino’s Pizza India at Jubilant FoodWorks.
Before joining Third Wave Coffee, he served as Head of Human Resources at Spencer’s Retail, where he worked closely with the CEO and promoters on a business turnaround plan. During his tenure, he implemented new HR policies, performance management frameworks, and digital learning programmes, while also contributing to cost-saving initiatives.
Earlier, Sinha spent nearly a decade with Landmark Group’s Lifestyle division in Dubai, overseeing HR operations across six Middle Eastern countries. Prior to that, he worked with Domino’s Pizza India, managing multiple HR roles that supported a workforce of over 20,000 employees.
Sinha holds a postgraduate diploma in human resources management from the Management Education Research Institute, New Delhi. He has completed the Future Leaders certification from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and is currently pursuing a postgraduate diploma in HRM (Emerging CHRO Programme) from XLRI Jamshedpur. He is also a certified Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) coach.
According to the company, Sinha will lead initiatives focused on culture transformation, talent development, leadership effectiveness, and employee engagement. His appointment aligns with Third Wave Coffee’s broader strategy to strengthen organisational capabilities as it continues to expand its footprint across India.
Founded in 2016, the Bengaluru-based coffee chain has rapidly grown across major Indian cities and continues to compete in the fast-growing café market alongside domestic and international brands.
