In this expanded role, Sandeep will lead the company’s global security technology roadmap, governance frameworks and strategic cyber resilience initiatives.
Sandeep brings nearly 20 years of experience across cybersecurity governance, security operations and technology strategy. He has spent over 16 years at Cognizant, building deep expertise across enterprise security and risk management.
Most recently, Sandeep served as Associate Director. Earlier, he held roles including Senior Manager, Manager for e Security Governance and Operations, and Senior Executive. Across these positions, he played a key role in building enterprise wide information security governance, compliance frameworks and operational resilience programs.
Before joining Cognizant, Sandeep worked as Project Manager at IMTAC Technologies LLC. In this role, he led security solutions and infrastructure initiatives, strengthening his expertise in security architecture, governance and enterprise risk management.
His elevation reflects Cognizant’s continued focus on strengthening security leadership as organisations navigate complex cyber risk environments.
