Samsung unveils Brain Health service to detect early signs of dementia and support cognitive wellness

Samsung is preparing to launch a new Brain Health service at CES 2026, aiming to detect early signs of cognitive decline including dementia. The feature will analyse users’ voice and sleep patterns using data collected from smartphones and wearable devices. This new service will complement Samsung Health’s existing healthcare tools such as blood pressure monitoring and ECG readings. The company is reportedly working with medical institutions to clinically validate the new functionality.

The Brain Health service will be showcased in a dedicated experience zone at a major Las Vegas venue during CES. It will monitor cognitive function through users’ voice patterns, gait and sleep data, and alert guardians if any abnormalities are detected. Visitors will have the opportunity to see how the feature works in real time and understand how personal data is collected and processed through Samsung devices.

Once monitoring is complete, Samsung’s Brain Health feature will offer personalized brain training programs to improve cognitive function. The company considers this service part of a larger vision for “continuous healthcare” that includes early detection, prevention and daily cognitive support. Samsung has reportedly completed internal development and is now conducting clinical validation in collaboration with medical institutions.

The new service will join the Samsung Health ecosystem which already tracks blood pressure, ECG, sleep, stress, movement and heart rate through devices like the Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Ring. At CES, Samsung will also introduce AI-powered home appliances including the Bespoke AI AirDresser, Bespoke AI Laundry Combo, WindFree Air Conditioner and Bespoke AI Jet Bot Steam Ultra robot vacuum. The company will also unveil two new Wi-Fi speakers called Music Studio 5 and Music Studio 7 in its home audio line-up.
