Samsung is preparing to expand its Galaxy A tablet line in India with the launch of the Galaxy Tab A11 plus. The company confirmed through a press release on Tuesday that the device will arrive later this month. The tablet was introduced in select global markets in September and will enter the Indian market with a set of AI tools and a MediaTek chipset built on a four nanometre process.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A11 plus configurations and features
The Galaxy Tab A11 plus will run on the MediaTek MT8775 processor. It will operate on One UI 8.0. Samsung will offer two variants. One will have six GB RAM with one hundred and twenty eight GB storage. The other will come with eight GB RAM and two hundred and fifty six GB storage. Users can also expand storage up to two TB with a microSD card. Samsung said that these options are designed for users who store videos, documents, and other files directly on their tablet.
AI tools
Samsung will include several AI features in the Galaxy Tab A11 plus. These tools are Google Gemini, Circle to Search, and a Solve Math feature in Samsung Notes. Gemini will allow users to ask questions in a conversational way. Circle to Search will let users circle any item on the screen to get information without switching apps. Solve Math will read equations added in Samsung Notes and show step by step solutions. Samsung expects these tools to be helpful for students and others who use digital notes and need quick answers.
The tablet will have an eleven inch display. It is expected to include a seven thousand and forty mAh battery with support for twenty five watt fast charging. For photos and video calls, it will offer a five MP front camera and an eight MP rear camera.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A11 plus expected price in India
In markets such as the United Kingdom, the Galaxy Tab A11 plus is priced at three hundred and twenty nine euros for the one hundred and twenty eight GB model and three hundred and eighty nine euros for the two hundred and fifty six GB version. Samsung may follow a similar pricing structure for India.
