Samsung is gearing up for the launch of its next flagship smartphone line-up, and fresh leaks suggest a strong focus on artificial intelligence and privacy features. The Galaxy S26 series is expected to be unveiled in the 4th week of February, with sales likely to begin in March. The line-up is tipped to include the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and the Galaxy S26 Ultra, although the company has not officially confirmed any details yet.
According to a tipster, Samsung has partnered with South Korean AI firm Nota AI to develop an AI powered image generation tool called EdgeFusion. The feature is said to be built for all 3 Galaxy S26 models. EdgeFusion is claimed to generate images directly on the device in under a second after users enter a text prompt. This on device approach is expected to reduce reliance on cloud processing, making the experience faster while enhancing photography and creative use cases.
The move is reportedly part of Samsung’s broader plan to strengthen device AI image processing. By keeping tasks on the smartphone itself, users may benefit from quicker results and improved privacy. The tipster suggests that this real time image generation capability could become a key highlight of the Galaxy S26 series, especially for users who rely on creative tools and AI driven features in daily use.
Alongside AI upgrades, Samsung has also teased a new privacy screen feature for upcoming Galaxy devices. The feature is designed to reduce shoulder surfing by ensuring the display remains visible only to the user when viewed straight on. People standing nearby will not be able to clearly see the screen. Users will also be able to customise when the feature activates and select specific apps where it applies. This privacy feature is expected to debut with the Galaxy S26 series, which is tipped to be unveiled on February 25 at a dedicated Galaxy Unpacked event.
