Samsung rolls out One UI 8.5 beta 2 update for Galaxy S25 series in India

Samsung has begun releasing the second beta version of its One UI 8.5 software for the Galaxy S25 series in India, bringing several fixes and refinements ahead of the stable release.

The update focuses on improving overall performance, stability, and user experience. According to user posts on community platforms and X, the One UI 8.5 beta 2 update is also reaching users in regions such as Germany and Poland. The update is available only to those who have enrolled in the beta programme on eligible Galaxy S25 devices.

As per user feedback and the official changelog, the One UI 8.5 ZYLH beta 2 update addresses multiple system issues. It fixes a problem where quick panel settings would reset during device boot and corrects icon spacing and placement in the quick panel menu. The update also resolves an issue where photos grouped into gallery folders were being shifted to the first album page.

Samsung has also improved call related performance by fixing stuttering that occurred when tapping the “More View” menu during calls. Another key fix targets a bug where the volume up button would stop working under certain conditions.

In addition, the update resolves forced closures of several third party apps and fixes an intermittent rebooting issue reported by users in the earlier beta version. Camera and other app optimisations have been included to further stabilise the software experience.

Samsung introduced the One UI 8.5 beta programme for the Galaxy S25 series earlier this month. Users interested in testing the update can register through the Samsung Members app, provided they are using a compatible device.

The beta 2 release signals Samsung’s continued effort to refine One UI 8.5 before its wider public rollout.
