Samsung has announced plans to expand its Micro RGB TV line-up, bringing its most premium display technology to a wider range of screen sizes in 2026. The move is aimed at offering more choice for both large spaces and standard living rooms, as the company prepares to showcase the updated line-up at the Consumer Electronics Show CES 2026.
The South Korean technology company said the expanded line-up will include 55, 65, 75, 85, 100- and 115-inch models. This goes beyond the flagship 115-inch Micro RGB TV that was introduced in August. The TVs are currently available only in select markets, and Samsung indicated that the new sizes are also likely to follow a limited regional rollout when they launch next year.
Micro RGB is a display architecture in which individual red, green and blue LEDs, each measuring less than 100 micrometres, emit light independently. This is different from traditional LED backlit TVs that use white or blue LEDs combined with colour filters. According to Samsung, independent RGB LEDs allow more precise light control and higher colour accuracy compared with conventional mini LED displays. As a result, users can expect more vibrant colours, finer details, improved contrast and fewer washed out effects while watching movies, shows or live sports.
The Micro RGB panels are paired with Samsung’s Micro RGB AI Engine Pro, an advanced image processing chipset that enhances clarity on a frame by frame basis. It supports features such as 4K AI Upscaling Pro for sharpening lower resolution content and AI Motion Enhancer Pro for smoother fast-moving scenes. Some models also include the Micro RGB Precision Colour 100 system, certified by VDE, which delivers wide BT.2020 colour coverage for more accurate skin tones, natural shades and deeper cinematic colours. Samsung will reveal the full 2026 Micro RGB TV lineup at CES 2026 in Las Vegas, scheduled from January 6 to January 9, where pricing and regional availability details are expected.
