Salesforce has announced a $1 billion investment in Mexico over the next five years, reinforcing its long-term commitment to the country’s economic and social development. The investment aims to help businesses across Mexico and Latin America evolve into Agentic Enterprises, where humans and AI agents collaborate to deliver enhanced customer success.
The funding will support the opening of a new state-of-the-art office, the launch of a Global Delivery Center (GDC) to serve regional clients, and the recruitment of top talent. It will also strengthen Salesforce’s ecosystem by investing in workforce development and AI training initiatives.
“Salesforce’s commitment to expanding its investment in Mexico highlights the strength of our economy and the exceptional talent we have,” said Marcelo Ebrand, Secretary of Economy, Secretariat of Economy of Mexico. “This investment will not only create jobs and build AI skills within Mexico but will also position our country as a key consultancy hub for markets across Latin America on AI agents and more.”
Mexico has become one of Salesforce’s fastest-growing markets, serving major clients such as Xcaret, Grupo Rafar, and FEMSA. The country also acts as a centre of innovation for the wider Latin American region, supported by nearly 1,000 local partners and resellers.
“Mexico is home to some of the world’s most innovative companies, and it’s becoming an important hub for enterprises embracing the agentic future,” said Marc Benioff, Chair and CEO of Salesforce. “This $1 billion investment is a commitment to Mexico as a key market for AI-powered growth, supporting the incredible talent, customers, and partners who are shaping the next generation of digital leadership across Latin America.”
Salesforce began its journey in Mexico in 2006 with a small team and has since become a trusted partner to thousands of businesses and public sector organisations. The company’s new five-storey office in Mexico City’s Polanco district, located in the Miyana II building, will accommodate up to 2,000 employees and serve as an innovation hub.
The new GDC will offer multilingual consulting services in English, Spanish, and Portuguese to clients across the Americas. Leading companies such as Globo, Grupo Falabella, and Protección will benefit from these services through Agentforce, Salesforce’s AI-driven platform.
“Agentforce is the catalyst for transformation, helping organisations in Mexico and throughout the region become Agentic Enterprises,” said Phil Sebok, Country Manager, Salesforce Mexico. “This investment sets us up to help companies augment human workforces with agents to create new opportunities, revenue streams, and ways of working.”
