Salesforce boosts AI capabilities with global launch of Agentforce 360

The major cloud software provider Salesforce announced a worldwide release of its artificial intelligence platform, “Agentforce 360,” on Monday. This new technology will be fully available across the Salesforce’s entire range of cloud services. Its main purpose is to help customers automatically handle everyday tasks and reduce business costs.

The technology industry is currently engaged in a fast paced competition to boost products with advanced AI capabilities. Businesses are rapidly adopting AI agents, which can perform actions independently for users, as a direct way to curb expenses and improve efficiency.

Salesforce Chief Executive Officer Marc Benioff commented on the launch, stating, “Agentforce 360 connects humans, agents and data on one trusted platform.”

The new platform is already serving a large user base, with twelve thousand customers globally. These clients include the social media firm Reddit, the restaurant booking system OpenTable, and the employment services company Adecco, according to the cloud software provider.

In related news, Salesforce confirmed that its internal team messaging application, Slack, will now feature the new conversational AI. This powerful integration will allow employees to use chat functions to collect data and finish various tasks. Salesforce emphasized that this feature will operate with strong security safeguards and enterprise level controls.
