A strategic leadership update is underway at Royal Canin as the company strengthens its regional finance leadership. Aybars Aksoy has been appointed Chief Financial Officer – Eurasia Cluster, where he will oversee the finance agenda across multiple markets in the region.
In his new role at Royal Canin, Aksoy will work closely with regional and global leadership teams to support strategic growth, strengthen financial governance, and drive business performance. His mandate includes enhancing financial planning, decision support, and long-term value creation in line with the company’s purpose of advancing pet health through nutrition.
Before joining Royal Canin, Aksoy served as Strategic Finance Group Director at Hepsiburada, a NASDAQ-listed e-commerce platform. In that role, he was responsible for group-level finance strategy, performance management, and strategic decision-making at one of Türkiye’s largest digital commerce companies.
Earlier, he spent more than 3 years at Getir, holding several senior finance leadership positions. These included Vice President Finance – Europe, Finance Director – Turkey, and Head of FP&A. During his tenure, Aksoy supported rapid international expansion, reinforced financial controls, and led planning and analytics across multiple high-growth markets.
Prior to this, Canin worked with The Coca-Cola Company as Commercial Finance Senior Manager, where he contributed to commercial finance strategy and business partnering initiatives. He also spent over 6 years at Philip Morris International, holding roles in financial planning, business development, and regional duty-free operations across the Eurasia region.
Aksoy’s earlier career includes roles at Avon, The Nielsen Company, and IC İbrahim Çeçen Investment Holding. Across these positions, he developed strong expertise in analytics, sales finance, financial modelling, and treasury operations.
With a professional journey spanning more than 15 years across FMCG, e-commerce, retail, and analytics-driven environments, Aksoy brings deep regional insight and cross-industry financial leadership to his new role. His appointment reflects Royal Canin’s focus on reinforcing financial strategy and governance as it continues to grow across the Eurasia cluster.
