ReNew, a leading global decarbonisation solutions provider, has appointed Ritu Bhati as Executive Vice President – Human Resources. In this role, she will lead people strategy, organizational development, and HR transformation to support ReNew’s mission of driving India’s clean energy transition.
Prior to joining ReNew, Ritu served as Vice President – Human Resources at Light & Wonder India for over three years, where she shaped HR strategy and strengthened talent development initiatives. She also worked independently as a Human Resources Advisor, consulting organizations on HR process efficiency, change management, transformation, and Diversity and Inclusion strategies.
Ritu has held multiple senior leadership positions at Accenture, including Managing Director – Global Service Delivery Excellence, Managing Director – HR for India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh, and Vice President – HR Service Delivery for India. During her decade-long tenure, she developed HR strategies that aligned with business transformation across multiple geographies.
Earlier, Ritu was Head of Human Resources at Macquarie Global Services for nearly three years. She also had a long and impactful career of over a decade at IBM, serving as Deputy General Manager – Human Resources, where she led initiatives in workforce planning, university relations, diversity, and leadership development. She began her career at Wipro British Telecom and Bharti British Telecom as HR Manager, and at The Arvind Mills Ltd. as a Management Trainee.
Ritu holds a Master’s degree in Personnel Management, Organisational Development, Management, Analytics, and Labour Legislation from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management.
Her appointment reinforces ReNew’s focus on building strong HR capabilities, fostering talent development, and driving organizational growth to support India’s clean energy ambitions.
