A steady rise within the organization marks a key leadership milestone in Rini Ghosh’s professional journey at Sutherland.
Rini Ghosh has been promoted to Director HR at Sutherland. In her new role, she will drive HR leadership priorities and support the company’s people strategy as it expands its digital engineering and business transformation services for global clients.
Before this promotion, Rini spent over 4 years at Sutherland, most recently as Senior Manager HR in Mumbai. In this role, she handled key HR initiatives and people operations. Her elevation reflects her ability to manage both strategic and operational HR responsibilities.
Prior to joining Sutherland, Rini worked at WNS Global Services for over 6 years, where she held progressive roles as Group Manager HR and earlier as Deputy Manager HR. During this period, she supported HR operations and business alignment across teams in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region and gained experience in large-scale HR delivery within a global services setup.
Earlier in her career, Rini worked with Capita as Assistant Manager HR. She managed the complete Background Verification process across locations, including document checks, analysis of BGC data, and handling candidate separations in case of RED BGC reports. She was also responsible for managing the Internal Job Posting process across locations.
She later spent close to 3 years with VFS Global Services Pvt. Ltd. as Deputy Manager HR. Her responsibilities included managing people processes and policies at a global level. She handled global internal job postings, compensation and benefits processes such as global increments and bonuses, expat and local salary fitments, HR process analysis, and maintenance of HR documents and SOPs in line with ISO standards.
At the start of her career, she completed an internship with Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Company Limited, gaining early exposure to HR operations.
Rini Ghosh holds a PGDM in PM & HRD from Balaji Institute of Management and Human Resource Development.
