Rianne Dixon takes on an expanded role as Senior Director at Walmart U.S. People Strategy & Operations

A leadership update at Walmart highlights a stronger focus on people strategy and execution as the company scales enterprise-wide transformation across its workforce.

In her expanded role, Dixon will continue to strengthen program governance and execution discipline, ensuring Walmart U.S. People transformation initiatives are delivered with clarity, adoption, and trust at scale.

In January 2026, Dixon assumed her current leadership position as Senior Director, WMUS People Strategy – Program Management in Bentonville, Arkansas. She leads the enterprise system that connects Walmart U.S. People strategy to execution. Her responsibilities include portfolio governance, prioritization, sequencing, and delivery discipline to ensure consistent transformation across Walmart’s associate base.

Earlier, Dixon served as Director, WMUS People Strategy – Digital Experiences, where she developed the strategic model to streamline prioritization and deployment of digital people initiatives. She worked closely with Product teams, HR Centers of Excellence, Operations, and Technology partners to align digital programs with business needs and enable scalable rollout.

Before that, she held the role of Director, E2E (Frontline) People Strategy – PMO, managing strategic HR portfolios that supported Walmart U.S. frontline operations, representing around 1.3 million associates. Her work covered release governance, talent reviews, feedback loops, and data insights to ensure disciplined execution and measurable outcomes.

She also served as Senior Manager II, E2E (Frontline) People PMO, leading governance strategy, operating cadence, and agile maturity for the frontline HR portfolio, improving delivery reliability and cross-functional alignment.

Alongside her corporate role, Dixon is Co-Founder and CEO of Rianne Nycole Designs, a brand and web design studio supporting professionals and entrepreneurs with brand strategy, websites, and visual identity. Her work blends large-scale corporate experience with creative strategy.

Earlier in her career, Dixon held multiple roles in Walmart Global Tech and Walmart Technology. These included Senior Manager, Strategic Projects & Programs – Associate Digital Experience, where she led UX operations, operating reviews, annual planning, and technology programs such as the COVID-19 Return to Campus initiative. She also served as Senior Manager, Technical Program Manager – International Pricing, leading global pricing product launches across China, Mexico, and Canada, and as Product Owner – Digital Operations Systems & Testing for Global Integrated Fulfillment. Her early career at Walmart included technical project roles, an IT rotational program, and a BI developer internship.
