Marking a significant leadership move for the company’s renewable energy ambitions in India, Mr. Sharma will steer the strategic direction and operational execution of Resolven’s integrated renewable energy platform. The platform focuses on developing, building, owning, and operating solar, wind, hybrid, and battery energy storage projects across the country.
Before joining Resolven, Parag briefly served as Chief Executive Officer at Zelestra-India. Earlier, he founded O2 Power and led it as Founder & Chief Executive Officer for nearly 6 years. During this period, he built a scalable renewable energy business platform and drove large-scale project development and execution across India.
Prior to O2 Power, Parag spent nearly 8 years as Chief Operating Officer at ReNew Power. In this role, he played a key part in expanding wind and renewable energy operations. He contributed to the company’s ambitious growth plans, supported by global investors.
His earlier career includes senior leadership roles at KPMG in the Strategic and Commercial Practice, where he specialized in infrastructure. He also headed the power sector at ICRA Limited and led the energy practices at ICRA Management Consulting Services Limited. In addition, he held roles at CRISIL and PwC Consulting.
Parag is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. With over 30 years of experience, he brings deep expertise in renewable energy, infrastructure strategy, and commercial execution. His appointment is expected to strengthen Resolven’s position in India’s fast-growing clean energy sector.
