Reliance Consumer Products Limited, owned by Mukesh Ambani, has announced the launch of its Campa Beverages brand in Sri Lanka in partnership with Ceylon Cold Stores. The move is part of the company’s plan to expand its soft drinks portfolio beyond India. The entry into the Sri Lankan market will be supported by the strong distribution network and operational scale of Ceylon Cold Stores, a subsidiary of the John Keells Group.
The Campa range in Sri Lanka will include Campa Cola, Lemon, Orange, and the energy drink variants Campa NRG Gold Boost and Berry Kik. According to the official statement, a 250 ml bottle will be priced at Rs 100, aiming to offer value and appeal for everyday refreshment.
“We are excited to enter the Sri Lankan market with our valued partner Elephant House Beverages. Campa is a heritage Indian brand founded more than 50 years ago that continues to enjoy the love of the consumers. We are investing for the long term and see great potential for accelerated growth in the region,” said Ketan Mody, Executive Director at Reliance Consumer Products Limited.
Commenting on the Reliance launch, Daminda Gamlath, President of John Keells Consumer Foods Sector, said, “We look forward to leveraging our robust distribution network and market expertise to establish Campa brand in Sri Lanka, just as it has been in India for generations.”
Recently, the FMCG arm of Reliance partnered with former Sri Lankan cricketer Muttiah Muralitharan to co-create, manufacture and sell Spinner sports drinks at Rs 10 for a 250 ml bottle, less than half the price of competitors such as Gatorade and Sting.
In the financial year 2025, Reliance Consumer Products Limited reported revenue of Rs 11,500 crore, with Campa and Independence each crossing Rs 1,000 crore in sales. The company also revealed that the brands’ overall reach surpassed one million stores in the last fiscal year.
